Biofuels & Bioenergy
In November 2015 the R&I Committee agreed to scale back this strategy to a working group. -
Climate Change
This strategy aims to encourage climate change research, development and extension that assists Australian producers, communities, regions and governments, to position themselves as leaders in carbon constrained production and natural resource management. -

Forest & Wood Products

This strategy aims to nominate agencies, which will take on specialised national roles for RD&E, for the main horticultural crops. -
New & Emerging Industries
In March 2015 the R&I Committee recommended that this strategy be led by RIRDC with a focus on the process for dealing with new and emerging industries rather than a detailed research plan. -
